Becker will present a children’s program, with a storytime and book-signing of the beautifully illustrated children’s books, The Story of Life and Oh, The Things We Believed. This engaging author will read from his books and present a talk about the series’ characters and themes – geared to an audience of young readers. Parents will enjoy the program, as well.

That evening, Becker will present a program on writing for children, parenting inquisitive children, and fostering scientific awareness in the next generation. The evening program will be preceded by a wine and cheese reception for the author. The reception starts at 6:30pm and the program starts at 7:15pm. The evening program will be held at the Art Factory, 721 Surry Street, Wilmington, NC.
